Dubai Design Days

This week is Dubai Design Days and we couldn't be more excited! 

Some highlights of our visit wa meeting legend of design Marcel Wanders, locally based furniture designer Khalid Shafar and falling in love with Regina Heinz's ceramic art works. 

Jan Kath @ Iwan Maktabi - Dubai

Today we got to meet only one of our favourite carpet designers - Jan Kath!!! 

His stellar designs are created from the most unexpected things - the side of a rusty marine vessel, experementation with the old and the new, historical patterns and textured from world locations like 1900 southern russia or the Gobi desert turned to tactile materials - eternal rug designs meant to last.
